May 14, 2008 - Altela received NPDES-based (National Pollution Discharge Elimination System) approval to discharge treated, clean water into the Colorado River. This permit comes from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s water Quality Control Division and is U.S. EPA-based.
May 7, 2008 - Altela received precedent-setting approval by the Colorado Department of Water Resources, State Engineer Office, in regards to “Beneficial” Re-use of treated, clean water in the Piceance Basin.
June 27, 2007 - Altela received Navajo Nation approval for the use of the AltelaRainSM System on district wells for the benefit of district grazing communities.
April 26, 2007 - Altela received U.S. EPA-based approval for the first-of-its-kind centralized produced water treatment facility.
August 4, 2005 - Altela received the first-ever approval in New Mexico to surface discharge treated, purified produced water for reuse.
